Sigma APO 150-500mm F5-6.3 DG OS HSM for Nikon. I was surprised how easy it is to shoot handheld with this massive lens. While it takes a bit of mucking around with the 2 stabilization modes, it can produce reasonably good results without a tripod/monopod. It’s sharp and it renders pleasant colors, albeit in Auto or Aperture mode some have the slightly yellow-ish/darker tint that seems to be consistent across the Sigma long zoom range (visible in the dove’s images below). This is easy to avoid in manual mode and with white balance adjustment. It also pulls a perfect bokeh.
