It performs very well in backlight conditions, low or harsh mid-day light. The accuracy and beauty of colors is – obviously – its main, truly outstanding feature.
It is very easy to manually focus for landscape, as well as close ups, and it’s becoming my favorite toy for wide angle at the moment. About sharpness: at f/8, I don’t find it any fault. At larger apertures it can still take reasonable night sky photos. The noise is negligible at 1600 ISO or above. And it’s a joy to use. I absolutely love it. I can’t wait to take it to more interesting places.
